An unbelievable Steampunk Dance at Whitby Steampunk Weekend. People  had said how  good you were, but that was absolutely brilliant and how you guys aren't on the TV is beyond us. We came along hoping for a good fun dance night after all this lockdown problem and boy did you deliver, that performance was off the scale and we were all talking about in at the Steampunk parade on Saturday. We will definitely  be following you around and have said to Andy that he must get Kal's Kats to more events. - All the best and thanks again Michelle and Anthony (the watchmaker)  - Just brilliant

Hi Kal - Really good to meet you and the rest of the band on Saturday and thank you for your kind words about the hotel and the event.

What a fantastic evening, we have had many good comments back and the whole event was a great success. You guys were absolutely superb and I’d like to congratulate you on your professionalism throughout. The music was brilliant and the whole setup was first class.

Would definitely be interested in discussing future events and will have to get some plans together for next year. Possibly a summer garden party in a marquee on the lawns would be something we’d be keen to look at.  What might you suggest in terms of theme and music style? Probably be looking at a Saturday in June/July.

Also for future reference what do you charge for the band for a New Year’s Eve performance?

Would be great to get any photos or video from the event that you may have too that we could put on social media and other marketing for similar events for the future.

Well, we booked Kal's Kats a year ago now for our wedding which has just taken place this weekend at Colwick Hall, Nottingham. We read the reviews on the website and on last minute musicians and looked at their youtube videos and were really impressed and thought theses guys will be great. Great doesn't even begin to describe them!! They 

were well -  You made our wedding. Absolutely incredible band and incredible evening-we. Rosie Rosie Jones and I can't thank you enough for making our day so special. xx

This band is fabulous x they will take you right back x with their authentic sounds of the past. Your feet won’t stop tapping and your soul won’t stop moving. 
Their dancers and singers are amazing.

just have to say a really big 'Thank You' to Kal & the rest of the Band Members for your playing in Chesterfield yesterday. I'm from the town originally but moved away over 30yrs ago, however I go 'home' as often as I can to see my Dad. Sadly I wasn't able to get to this years event but am commenting on my Dad's behalf. At 93yrs old the 40's were my dad's 'youth' & he has always held on to the memories & been my inspiration for my lifelong passion for the era. He took himself off to town yesterday & listened to you guys right through to your last number. I chatted with him last night & he was thrilled with his day out, loving the music & reminiscing to the dancing. So I will say Thank You All once again for making my dear old Dad a very Happy Man! you are wonderful musicians and very lovely people. My Best Wishes to you All.

Well what can you say - we had Kal's Kats to play for our Great Gatsby Themed Birthday party last night in Sutton in Ashfield. I don't really know what more to say - simply a fantastic band!!! how these guys are not on TV and playing around the country is a sin as far as I'm concerned. Their attention to detail is excellent, they play brilliant music and get the entire room going - teaching them dances to get everyone buzzing - They taught them the Gay Gordons for a bit of fun and I nearly burst into tears with how fantastic it all looked and to see everyone army party enjoying themselves. Wow, wow, wow - simply fantastic. They hit the switch and boom it just went off. The audience danced like crazy and were sweating like mad - the main chap Kal was in amongst the audience whooping then up showing them dance moves and singing some fab music - I wish I'd recorded this - they should be on TV! This is the best night we've ever seen at this club in all the years - Kal's Kats - just superb. Happy new year for 2017 all and get these guys booked for your event. You won't regret it - Peter H. What can I say - we attended the weekender and on Saturday watched one band and many of us were disappointed and were ready to leave but wanted to wait to see this band called Kal's Kats. We didn't know what to expect and hoped they would be better than the previous band and boy were we in for a treat. Kal's kats are simply fantastic!!! There 250 people in that room at the Royal Bath Hotel and everyone danced the entire night through. we were delighted and cannot praise this band highly enough, really excellent. Tell you what folks - these guys have two band Kalamazoo dance Band and Kal's Kats - we had Kalamazoo here a few weeks ago for our 40's event and we have Kal's Kats playing for New Year's Eve - they are simply first class - we were blown away by their talent, top quality music and how they worked the audience participation was second to none. Just fantastic!!!! If you are planning an event and want it to be remembered by everyone, then either Kal's Kats for. Jump jive and swing Dance or Kalamazoo for a Glenn Miller and rat pack style dance - just love love love you guys!!!

Blimey these guys are superb!! They played an outside concert for us as part of the weeks music festival and they got the place rammed - folks were sitting on the walls to get a view - what a band and will definitely be back here again - swing revival at its best!!

well well, I watched this band in action at Great Barford and can tell you they are superb. The presentation with lights and suits is second to none and really creates that atmosphere and the music was really well played and an excellent mix as well.
